Dads and Values

At one of my recent talks larry shared with me an interesting observation. Larry knew a man that worked in the Juvenile Justice system in Utah. It was this man's observation that children got their morals and values from their father; wheather the dad was in their lives or not.

This sounds improbable and possibly sexist but Larry said his friend saw this phenomena over and over.

Dads Influence

Here a link to an Oregonian article interviewing James Rodgers, Sr. James Sr. in the father of Oregon State University football stars James and Jaquizz Rodgers. James Sr. in in a Texas prison on drug charges. James Sr. made a statement in the interview that he had no influence on his sons. I disagree, James Sr. had a huge impact. The Rodgers son are working to stop the cycle.
